Education and training of hospice staff, volunteers and the wider community of health professionals is a significant part of our service. We offer a comprehensive programme of courses and workshops to enhance the knowledge and skill base of those working in the area of palliative care. Since 2011 Waipuna Hospice has held accreditation from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians to provide specialist training for medical registrars.

Waipuna Hospice is committed to providing palliative care education to our colleagues in the community. If your organisation requires further education, other than that offered here, please contact Education@waipunahospice.org.nz
